You Came To Me
You came to me
it was like a dream
to me it seemed
we were meant to be
I was alone
but then you came
You brought the sun
and dried the rain
You were more than just a friend to me
like the heavens sent you just for me.
There was something about you
that made me love you
more than words could say
You came to me
it was like a dream

You kissed my cheek
then said goodbye
I wonder why
our love just had to die.
