You Became Mine
The sparkling dawn suffused my heart’s horizon,
spreading the sunburst colors of eternal yearning,
painted a divine garden blooming with my love,
unfurling the facsimile of your florid astral face,
I adored.
The patina of radiant rose flushed your tender cheeks,
glittering with the grandeur of chromatic pearly dew,
rhapsody rippled in the mesmeric meadow of my heart,
as you became mine I floated in the air of euphoria,
I treasured.
In the delightful vale of mind contoured by romance
I carved an ardent channel of longing to reach you,
the fervid cloud of my craving melted in a torrent,
making my boundless love for you a cascading river,
I swam.
Flowing with the current of your charismatic allure,
my avid ardor sailed to the moonshine bay of bliss,
where my love weaved the lattice of stars in your sky,
in my enthralled heart the enchanting tinsels glistened,
I preserved.
