You Be You, I'Ll Be Me

I can't be who you want me to be I've spent my life being who I am This city life ain't for me I'm a country boy and a simple man I don't want to ride in a fancy car Let's drive my pick up for awhile A suit and tie just ain't me Camouflage is more my style I can't live in a penthouse suite I like my cabin in the woods You can keep your concrete streets I'd drive all dirt roads if I could It seems that we have different dreams Of what the perfect life should be I guess we should go our separate ways You be you and I'll be me

Sometimes, the saying of opposites attract holds truth. However- not always the case. Different is good. Being yourself. I am not a city girl, so I can relate to the country moments you express here. Always be You!! It sounds like you are. :) Brandy
