You Ask Me

You ask me of where my shadow lies
Ready to rust
Or at least in the darkness, it’s lost
Thought you; above all will know the answer
The one that even I need to go down
Into the vault to search and
Open my eyes
Listening the cries
Scream and find the coldness
On the floor
That will speak to me
About my whereabouts
Yet in a language I can’t understand
I never have
For it’s been so long that I can’t remember
Or think
Think of anything but you
