Notes About The Poem

It has been a long hard struggle and whether you like it or not, Donald Trump is to be our next President. It is the responsibility of We the People, the supposed real government of the United States of America, to support our president and government. 
When the government does not deserve support, there are legal ways to remove it. you may find those ways in the Constitution; rioting in the streets is not in the Constitution.

You Are To Be the President

You are to be the President

You are to be the President
You're welcome Mister Trump
As an apprentice at political
Do as well as Forest Gump

The people put their faith in you 
To be a big success
Follow Gump's example
And clean up all this mess

As leader of the U.S.A.
And all contained therein
Pick a place, there are so many,
For the cleaning to begin  

To make this country great again
Push agendas of your own
When Congress hears about them
They'll most likely piss and moan

Must work with House and Senate
To get the laws to pass
Don't think it will be easy
Most are Elephant or Ass

Use the greatest document
Which governs all this land
About damn time we ran it 
By Constitutional command

Use  the checks and balances
Described for all therein
 No longer to ignore them 
Time to take it on the chin

Inauguration's coming soon
Hope you've considered well
The establishment will do its best
To block your ideas from the bell

We the people put you there
And we must have your back
We only ask you tweet us
Before the train runs off the track
