You Are the Song
You look in the mirror all alone with no one
else in view. You look again and there I am
standing next to you.
Touch my heart my darling. It is beating just
for you. Say you love me darling, because I
love you too.
You are so beautiful to me and your beauty is
all I see. If I'm spoiling you my dear, it's
okay...let it be.
Like a drug I get high on your love. Like a
cut for your love I bleed. You're all I ever
wanted. You are all that I need.
Can I take you in my arms, I ask, would that
be alright? If I take you in my arms would
you then hold me tight?
Can I take you in my arms? Could I spend the
night with you? If I take you in my arms, could
I spend my life with you?
You are my sweet little thing. To your heart my
love I bring. You are more than just a fling.
Praises of you my heart do sing.
If I'm spoiling you my dear, it's okay...let it
be. You're the sweetest song I hear. With you I
hear a symphony!
If I stayed in your arms then how could I do
wrong? If you were a sweet melody, then my love,
you are the song.
