You Are Not Alone

Hearing my words are affecting those in need
Is the greatest reward indeed

Though my heart cries with each note I read
I’m thankful my message is planting seeds

Providing hope for those closed in
Giving you a voice, showing our abusers don’t have to win

I’m proud to be opening eyes to deceit and lies
Preventing this affliction on innocent lives

While our memories and scars will never completely go away
Know I share your pain and listen to what you have to say

I pray that knowing you are not alone
Will help you release and writing will be a stepping stone

Writing has been my salvation
Sharing with you has been my consolation
Helping all those in need is my liberation…
