You Are My Sunrise

Slow and low Which way do I go Where do I turn, to put us back together again Warning signs and second chances Too naive to take for granted Desolation inherits my sorrow My heart is slowly draining And it will not go to sleep I can't handle this I need to wake up next to you I need to share air with you You are the reason my lungs function Upside down and inside out You are my sunrise without a doubt I need to carress your neck with my lips Whisper into your ear Slowly and slowly and softly Making sure we are looking out for just one last spark Did your sugar turn sour Did your dreams come back to life Stay with me, don't let go Will you walk into the sunset without me by your side Something for the masses And all the time that passes
