You Are My Saviour
You Are My Saviour
You are my Saviour, my Lord and my Friend
My guide, my Redeemer on whom I depend
You died in the open, nailed to that tree
Battered and bleeding you were crying for me.
How did you know Lord, how did you see
That the gift of your life would set all sinners free
I kneel at your alter, take bread and wine,
In awe of your glory, time after time.
You are my Saviour, my Lord and my Friend,
My guide, my redeemer through to life’s end,
I cry for your suffering and for your pain,
But know if he asked, you would do it again.
Praise to the Farther, and to his Son,
The Holy Spirit, the three in one,
You are my Saviour, my Lord and my Friend
The light of the world, forever Amen.
