You Are My Love

You Are My Love

You are my love over all else

Our souls are twined though not all can see

The cords that bind us across the miles

Never to be cut or broken free.

Your fragrance borne on northern breeze

Leaves me weak at my knees

Longing for your gentle touch

On my skin and on my hair.

This my love for you my prayer.

You are my love above all else,

Secret days and secret lovers

To be with you for always .

Is my hearts and souls desire

Life has no meaning without my love.

My universe is filled with you

Stars tremble at your fragrant fire.

Light shoots by like meteors

Chasing dreams beyond compare.

Above all others I love you

My loveI stretches beyond the stars.

My love for you knows no bounds

Nor restrictions to hold it back

Love cannot see or feel or threaten

It’s a force that cant be tamed.

Belongs to know one in this world

It runs free and goes where it will.

Like the breeze from the north

I feel your love caress my path.
