You Are Mine Today

We don’t know what the future will hold
We don’t know if together we’ll grow old
Plans we make may never come true
But today, I am holding you

You are mine today
You are in my heart
Let’s make the most of it
Today we’re a perfect fit
You are mine today

The past can’t be changed at all
Other loves have caused us to fall
We’ll live just for here and now
Tomorrow will work out somehow

You are mine today
You are on my mind
Let’s love like it will last
Forget about the past
You are mine today

My loving arms will be open wide
Holding each other, our hearts can hide
Kissing all the hurt of the world away
You are mine today
