You Are

I am empty, You are what fills me. I am lost in the dark, You are what lights my way. I am cold, You are what warms me. I am the tears, You are the laughter. I am the dreamer, You are my dream come true. I am the night sky, You are the stars that shine. I am the fire, You are the oxygen that sustains me. I am thirsty, You are the endless well. I am the heart, You are my beat and the love that fills it. I am your woman, You are my man and I love you. You are everything.

Carol, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I have lots more. I'm busy writing my fifteenth book right now and am loving it. I wish you continue success with something you obviously love. I have to stop by when I can find a few minutes to just read. There are many talented people here. Thanks, again. Blessings, Terri

Thanks, David. Poetry will always be my first love. It's how I found writing, or should I say how writing found me? Thanks again.

Thank you, Kimberly. I plan on submitting more as I get the time. I have tons written, but I'm also in the middle of writing my fifteenth book, hopefully my eighth to be published. I have another poetry book written, "Listen to Your Heart" but not published yet. Only my first, "My Soul has Spoken" is and has been for about five years now. Thank you again.
