You and I

Through the pits, you and I have been,
There isn't much we haven't seen,
So many stories we have to tell,
We've seen the darkest parts of hell.
Despite the horror of our pasts,
The faith we have, i pray it lasts
Together we stand stronger as one,
Hand in hand we'll find the sun,
The tiny lives we have to hold,
Their future is for us to mould,
Lets change our fate, lets make life great,
We now have a chance, to sing and dance.
Embrace the love that we share,
Coz what we have is beautifully rare.
