You and I

You and I
I concede
You are virtuous
I am delinquent
You refrain from forbidden
I oftentimes give in
You pride on your piety
I accept my fallibility
You strive to be an angel
Being human is my struggle
Your piety makes you heady
My failings keep me steady
Your prayers smell vanity
Mine spell humility
You believe you can earn heaven
I think it is only given
You believe
You will reside in heaven and I in hell
What if
In opposite places He makes us dwell?
