You Amaze Me
I see you approaching from a distance
and my heart leaps with joy!
The cares of the day seem to fade into oblivion,
no longer weighing on my mind.
The sun appears brighter & the birds sing more sweetly
because you are near.
You speak & my world stands still to listen,
carefully trying to catch every word.
Without even realizing, you are wonderful!!
You AMAZE me!
