You

It was a Thursday evening when I first gazed my aching eyes upon you.

I watched her from across the room as I felt my heart begin to race

Hair like the ocean-beautiful

A smile that can't help but rail me in

I will remember the way those sunset eyes looked at me

I am captivated and cant turn away

My face gets all red and my hands get all shaky

It's just a conversation

But I am astounded and can't find the right words to say

From the way she looks falling asleep at night

To the way she looks in the morning

I soon began to realize that this is the face I want to see when I'm fighting my alarm clock each morning
