You

Now that you have found me,
the thought of your touch does things to me.
Your warm embrace… to feel you loving me--
boy, what are you doing to me?

And I hear your whisper, “Loving you…
the storm in this body is raging for you.
I’m completely crazy about you.
Girl, this boy needs only you.”

Now, I wait for the evening and the stars to appear,
for your gentle touch as you dry my tears
and soothe away all my fears,
your eyes lit with hope for future years.

The mere idea of you--the longing to have you close.
The timbre of your voice next to my ear curls my toes.
Knowing I’m the one you need and want the most…
look out, baby--now anything goes.

My dreams of you blow wild and free.
Look into my eyes and you will see
everything that you mean to me…
and how sweet life can be.
