You

You touched my life in so many ways,
Helping me grow into the person I am today.
You held me through all the nightmares,
Growing pains, and rotten decisions.
You made me face the truth,
No matter how it hurt.
You left your hand prints on my heart and soul,
So that nothing could ever erase them.
You gave me courage and strength,
So that I could follow my dreams.
You gave me all your patience, guidance,
And unconditional love.
You will always be in my thoughts,
Even long after you're gone.
Words alone can never express
My thanks for all you've done.

I LOVE YOU

(This poem is dedicated to my Daddy,
who passed from this world on November 2, 2010.
We all miss you.)

I'm sorry for your loss, Amy. Your father sounds like he was a great man. Had tears in my eyes reading this because I feel the same way about mine and he died last year. May his spirit smile lovingly upon you as you try to cope with the grief. My heart goes out to you. Blessings, Carolyn
