You

You shine with veneer of golden days, You dry every tear of sorrow, You anchor my drift in countless ways, You give me the gift of tomorrow. You are every season in tangible form, You give me the reason for trying, You shelter my dreams from the wrath of the storm, You shelter my dreams against dying. You breathe like a hurricane into my soul, You lend me a born again fashion, You pull me together, render me whole, You hold me forever with passion. You kiss me as though I were all that you need, You burn with a glow of forgiving, You are my angel, I have to concede You are my reason for living.
