You
When the dark sky starts crumbling, gravity unleashes its restrain.
When you start falling. So wake up.
Then go to sleep but only after feeling the red lips the leaves fall down of.
The long winter that I waited for you, the warm summer that we never spent together.
The years to come that aren’t in our hands.
But I won’t worry. Afar from you I shall view and treasure.
This world is so pretty.
I want to dive into it.
But how long will they stay? You could have stayed longer.
But you’re not in our picture anymore.
Time has tricked us, we have fought against all odds but love could not keep us strong.
Maybe when we write that letter again, say that word again.
When we’ll see that leaf fluttering.
Maybe we’ll recognize the moon we shared together.
Us apart will always be. Us together will always be, for me.
Us.
Me and you.
You.
