Such an upbeat, happy poem... You had told me that your favorite color was yellow (when I told you that my wife stared down the yellow flowers I bought her, saying they were for gravestones). And now I see how true it is. Bard on, Poet! Or should I have written, Poet on, Bard! ~ Corn-fused

All three work. Bard on Poet, Poet on Bard and Corn-fused. I am from the corn-state, just like Andrea and Brenda. All three of us were born Iowegians.

Yellow is such a happy, sunny, smiley colour and your poem has done just that, put a great big smile on my face Caren. I recently wrote a little ditty about sunflowers and they too have that same smileyness ~ delightful happy poetry ~ thank you. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

I adore yellow but ORANGE is my ultimate favorite color. And you cannot beat the 70's combination of orange, yellow and pink if you ask me.
