Yodeling Loons
A giant red moon appears.
every twenty-seven years
during the month of June
Over blue lakes and shallow lagoons
Over faithful flocks of yodeling loons
Over the peaceful shores and white dunes
Across the Cameroons
You can hear the tune of the yodeling loon.
