Enjoyed reading another thoughtful musing on the lowly acorn preparing to become a mighty oak. Your love and grasp of nature are so evident in your writings, Wendy ~ John

Thank you,John although the dispersal of acorns from our garden oak was rather too profuse for our liking this year! I do find acorns so aesthetically pleasing though and have made use of several in craft activities.

Doesn't make sense doffing your cap to receive winter's chill, does it? Yet that is what they do! Well said! Aloha! Rico

Thank you, Rico. I find them so cute and have recently painted quite a few with faces to accompany log slices with my ''Acorn's last secret' poem written on.
