Without a fair means to endure
Inflation puts some in the sewer
The Fed might raise rates
Until it abates
But their record makes us unsure

Excellent ink Duke and the title made me think of Laurel and hardy lol. the whole world is struggling with the current economic situation especially with the war in Ukraine and rising cost of living. food and fuel prices increase almost every day with companies making huge profits at our expense when will it all end:-(hugs Jan xx

Han, excellent summation of our current state of affairs. We hope that society reins in the excess and build a sustainable future. It’s going to be a tough ride. I google the global co2 level and see we are not trending in the right direction.

Well, it MIGHT make I fblation Abzug Ate to raise rates but I hate it cause my crEdit cards are now at street scalper rates, which’s Congress won’t see. How bout curbing inflation by temp legislation to tegulate prices giving major corps their historic high profits? Small limerick to start 1,000 discussions, but sadly not in Congress. Fine piece, Duke !

Yes, we've gotten away from historical limits in terms of what the upper echelon walks away with. It's a sad state of affairs and with the lobbyists pushing to keep it that way, hard to see how we can fight it. Some good things happened, but it's an ongoing battle.

Politicians seem to believe (they are demi gods) they say, do and contradict themselves so often, and they are all the same worldwide. Yes, all has changed. We used to have politicians who discussed issues. Now, we have attack ads and a population not so good at connecting the dots. You are most kind!!!
