Yesterday, I Kissed An Angel

(in reference to Micheal Jackson)

Yesterday, I kissed an Angel
when upon Me, she did creep
Quietly, approaching My bedside,
as I lay there, fast asleep
Suddenly, I heard her Calling and,
I awakened, without a peep
It seems She wanted Me to join her,
So, off the windowsill, We did leap
Momentarily, I thought of My children
who in My absence, was sure to weep
Until, She promised, they'd be cared for,
then I gave her My Soul to keep
