Yesterday I Cried
Yesterday my world came crashing down
And life seemed to be a mess
I sat and wondered why me
And yesterday I cried.
I always smile with all my friends
And everyone thinks I’m happy
They’ve never seen me shed a tear
But yesterday I cried.
My family thinks I’m well adjusted
My friends think I’m well put together
But yesterday everything fell apart
And yesterday I cried.
Today everyone found out my secret
I’m not as strong as I seem
Because yesterday I died
And today, everyone else cried.
