Yesterday

It pains me to know so much time has passed, yet
my love remains. The winds and old trees
witnesses of what we once were.
The hands of time hold me by the hand and guide
me into forever.
Then forever was too long now it only seems to
have fallen short, and just like that you fade out of
my life.
I miss you, I can't help but day dream of your
golden curly hair.
Those full lips that made me shiver as they came
into my view.
I will always write to your memory Gloria, my
heart swells as I realize I may never seen you
again.
I only rejoice in memories past when I held you
and kissed you.
The way you looked into my soul and I into your
eyes.
I know your heart feels for me, yet your fear
keeps you at a distance.
Only time reminds you of me, of yesterday.

Lasting in memory, how beautiful, even though by recalling them you must be touched by its pain :), Thank you Edward for your visit, I appreciate it a lot :D - Hug, Yanny
