Yes We Can
Our economy is on the verge to collapse,
Our wages are down yet we are still highly taxed?
Our state is sending out “I owe you”; while CEO’s are steadfast to gain funds and relax?
So why is it being asked of me to carry the Nation woes upon my back?!
Barack is now in office and hopefully change shall truly come,
And thank God that the people opened their eyes and saw that McCain was NOT the one!
Bush is out the door and is now on his way right back to his home…
Leaving behind an economy fulfilled with more cracks and holes than those streets in Rome!
So now it is time for us all to unite no matter if you’re a conservative or a liberal…
Remember we are living through some harsh times; times that can be compared to that as a
meaning of biblical….
As we now come together as a country on this inauguration day to follow in the footsteps of
this one prodigious man….
In all utterance of his words unto us as he bellows out loud … “Yes We Can…!!”
“Rosa Park sat for Dr. King to march and Barack ran so that we all could Believe …..”
