Bluebird, will you promise me you'll never fly away
No matter what, no matter why
You'll always near me stay?
I've grown to love your morning song
Your nest is in my heart
I don't know that I could take it out
It's down so deep, and part
Of what I love and why I love,
I've never known before
The kind of love that you've flown in
And landed at my door
If it ever comes to pass
Where I could love you back
My love would never sunset
Or ever fade to black
Bluebird, I do promise you I'll never go away
