Yellow So Blue

p r I m a r y   c o l o r s
red     yellow     blue

     blue    crowned 
           world    favorite  for
 being calm and safe

     red     depicts
         bold  power     
passion     excitement

     yellow     sadly   is
          least     popular –
reason why yellow is
      s o   b l u e

The visual spacing lets the colours inhabit the page as vividly as they do the imagination. I especially enjoyed the clever, poignant turn in “yellow / so blue”: a compact phrase that deepens the poem’s reflection on colour, feeling, and perceived worth.
