He stood in his kayaker surveying the dark amber fog, Creeping towards him, shedding saffron mist around him. Yellow livered, he trembled as tawny chill descended his spine. He peered carefully around; afraid he’d see a lemon shark.

Can't blame him on fearing a shark. Very expressive and creative work. I would not want to be on a kayak in shark infected waters for sure. I appreciate you dropping by my page with such an understanding comment. Sara

A very creative imaginative write, A lemon shark or yellow fever, both would be scary! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Dreamlike...wondering if this is about a shark or fear of a disease. A lemon shark? Is there such a thing?

Would you believe my little brother fishes out where the sharks swim and his attitude is if you don't bother them they don't bother you. Roper went once and never again; didn't want to deal with the sharks. :)

Fool to be out in his kayaker when there’s saffron mist all about, and of course lemon sharks that lark don’t show to the eye when there’s dark amber fog hanging around. A brilliant free verse Victor… Belle

Fantastic imagery we a significant meaning behind it. At the point when we can't see around us, we dread the extraordinary obscure. Have a great weekend and stay safe, dearest Victor

When we can't see around us we fear the great unkown, wouldn't like to be that canoeist with one of them creeping up on me. Tom
