Yellow Crocus

Sunshine in the garden
where the crocus now bloom
A burst of yellow shows
hope through the old brown leaves
returning where it grows

Golden yellow petals
a recipe for spring
brings cheer with light of day
It's now in the making
a time for all to play

Heidi, The arrival of springtime that you portray via the petals of vibrant yellow flowers is appealing to me. This is a lovely poem.

I am happy to hear that. It is amazing to see the bright yellow flowers, (the 1st this spring), after so many gray days. Thank you for the kind comment :)

Hi. Yes, it is very nice to see the first flowers of the season. The woodpecker are all around too. They have mainly been hammering trees, but the other day I heard one on the metal again. I was surprised it didn't continue, but it may. I hope all is well Thank you Richard :)
