Heidi Sands Poet Rhyme

Yellow Carpet

The Sunflowers just want to dance
Show their faces to bring about smiles
Reaching higher and higher in a stance
Toward the sky, across the miles

Parting paths for the wind to travel
Between their bodies, colored green
A stage for them all to unravel
On a yellow carpet of waves to be seen
