Yellow Carpet

The Sunflowers just want to dance
Show their faces to bring about smiles
Reaching higher and higher in a stance
Toward the sky, across the miles

Parting paths for the wind to travel
Between their bodies, colored green
A stage for them all to unravel
On a yellow carpet of waves to be seen

The farm close to us grows sunflowers and they do look like a yellow carpet of waves when a breeze blows. Beautiful write Heidi, Blessings and love, Jennifer. P.S Hope things are getting a little better every day.
