My winter heart uplifted by colour
Vibrant yellow speaks of spring
Very soon dour spirit will recover
Mother Nature is busy with song to sing.
Daffodil clusters dynamic yellow
Gorse on hillside yellow as well
Radiant glow hovers over meadow
Happily waving cold winter farewell.
Daffodils in vase on kitchen table
Bringing bright spirit of spring into home
Gorse on cliffs walking enabled
By small yellow primrose growing alone.
Stunning season must be cherished
Each day with wonders we're happy to see
Lively nature without a blemish
My soul uplifted my spirit carefree.
