Yearning To Be Free
Yesterday, today and tomorrow have all become one.
Every second, minute, hour deals unbearable grief.
Anguish, my new home; hopelessness my daily bread.
Reaching for untouchable stars of dreams of freedom.
Needing, begging the suns rays to end the evil night.
Ignored as darkness reigns continuing my plight.
Neglected, forsaken in this realm of horrors and ghosts.
Granting me nothing but emptiness and memorable scars.
Terrified, paralyzed by the thought of further torments.
Obstructing my views, beliefs and warping my thoughts.
Battered with the sharp barbs of struggle and strife.
Earning me more wounds for my backs décor.
Fearing no longer the night, but the suns judgmental light.
Revealing the scars of unanswered pleas and mangled limbs.
Entering me into another realm of disgusted stares,
Enterally leaving my words to echo into the void of oblivion.
