Yearly Celebration of Hope
the water smooths herself out,
admiring the celebration of hope
the oaks admire the decorated pine
humans have adorned her
and set her adrift in a native canoe
she parades her truth, showing love
this happens every year the oaks whisper
the forest quiets herself feeling a reverence
a soulful event that changes the ambiance of the forest
