Y O U R Memories

It is not the loneliness but
your memories that hurt me most.

Distances, try to keep us apart,
but your love resides in my heart,
The memories take away my peace,
I find my heartbeat trying to cease.
It is not the loneliness but
your memories that hurt me most.

My silence will burn me from inside,
and my love for you I can't hide,
Why I breathe your memories,
they lock me with you and then freeze.
It is not the loneliness but
your memories that hurt me most.

The garden chair, memories it brings,
my lonesome heart weeps and sings,
But I can't stop thinking of you again,
and memories of you, bring me pain.
It is not the loneliness but
your memories that hurt me most.
