Wrong Path
In view of latest events ... I'm sure American readers will get it ...
Not heart but brain.
And soul will fade.
We had a chance.
Now - over fence.
.
The turn in life
Will not be sharp.
But path is paved
And we will pay.
.
We must review
Of what we do,
Of what we say,
And how we play.
.
The gray is gone.
Just black and white.
We, good old days,
Will call in sigh.
.
On 'first' we jump
And clap our hands.
But 'second' time
All that will change.
.
The men at arms
Will be our "friends,"
And mighty bucks
Eclipse our hearts.
.
Never-the-less
As woman said -
We fall and rise,
While getting wise.
