Written in the Wind
The mountain stretched beyond the sky,
where rivers carved and clouds ran high.
Side by side, we found our way,
through golden light and fleeting day.
The wind wove secrets through her hair,
wild and free, beyond compare.
A lioness in quiet grace,
with fire and softness on her face.
A break beneath the open blue,
where whispers danced and time withdrew.
I spread the cloth, she took her place,
a quiet rhythm, a natural space.
A simple snack, a passing bite,
yet something stirred beneath the light.
A glance too long, a thread now spun,
a moment caught, though just begun.
Down the path where voices hummed,
a café waited, warm and numb.
A pause, a look, a fleeting stay,
where words unspoken found their way.
Beyond the sound, where silence grew,
the stone couch waited just for two.
We sat, the air so thin, so still,
as if the world bent to our will.
I reached, she stayed, her fingers warm,
a quiet touch, a gentle storm.
A kiss so light upon her cheek,
a whisper felt, too soft to speak.
She turned to me, her gaze so deep,
a world inside, a moment to keep.
No past, no future, just this space,
just us, just now, just bound in grace.
Dedicated to Ayla
A lioness, graceful, radiant, breathtaking, and unforgettable.
