Written in the Stars

Our destiny whether written in stars,
Or carved by us blows on the trees afar.
Do writings in stars etch our day and night
Or can we steer our ship and shape our plight?

The twinkling constellations, vast and deep,
Their sacred, silent, secrets slyly keep,
A cosmic map in eyes of some sages,
Charting our fated path in life`s pages.

The zodiac, a mystic turning wheel,
In some way our destiny does reveal,
But it`s a fixed design, a path defined,
Not for each self, but for men with a sign.

Every soul is a unique, distinct star
With his own feels and his distinctive scar,
Shining with his own shade and his own glow
Cast on the sea at his own pace to flow.

As a soul we may feel a pulse arise,
A shining spark simmering in our eyes,
A yearning wish, a deep daunting desire,
To fan the eager embers of our fire.

We may grasp our ship`s helm with steady hand
And chart a course to reach the desired land,
Choose the port, to which to set our ship`s sail,
And brave whatever tempests may assail.

The currents pull, wild woeful winds may blow,
But to our chosen goal, we opt to go,
Not bound by stars` writings, nor make a fuss,
But by choices that we frame to be us.

Perhaps the stars send us their sparkling gleam,
A distant light to guide us reach our dream,
But at day`s end, the rudder rests with us
The captains of our ship, which we can trust.

The tapestry of life is woven fine,
With silver threads of fate and of design;
But in the weave, a gentle space is found,
Where sturdy seeds of will can be unbound.

Though writings in the stars in splendour shine
Through fleeting nights and sunlit days aligned,
We may read their signs, yet still hold the key
To who we are and who truly we’ll be.

Very nicely done excellent rhyme and meter writing in couplets I see the imagery is also quite vivid telling a story of how our choices shape our life not the stars you ended it perfectly
