Written In Achabal Garden

Great were the Mughal Emperors, their queens,
And also their brothers-in-law.
Though they had held our
 Old last king
Who was oh! Utter Godly
And had fallen in love with
A divorced poetess
Who chanted her touching verse
Roaming in despair through the Saffron fields.

Constructed the cascades and canals,
Fountains in tranquil pools
And, grew fragrant flowers and shady chinars.
Have built there and there,
The springs are by forests,
The he'venly gardens.
And it seems that they had in their minds
Beforehand,
Betrayed, wandering lovers— like I.
