Writing When Rain Drops
The pen in me that only drama knows,
Is most at art when water is released
From clouds are waterfalls torward earth that grows,
Rinsing my roof with raindrops west to east
Something of heavens show of falling streams,
Whose waves tap salt upon my window glass,
Gives me desire to write poetic dreams,
Of sacred tears descending into grass
What mystic bliss for showers to descend...
A sky of sea dripping unto earths wall
For I write best when raindrops dance with wind,
As blue lagoons turn grey and rivers fall
