Writing vs Poetry

If being a good writer means you just write Anything that you can perceive, Then my page would be flooding In poems everytime I have A time to write. But there is more in poetry than mere writing; It is about the capture of that moment And that feeling which only happens Once in a lifetime In order to preserve it through words. Being good in writing Is not synonymous with Being a good poet. For a good writer may only write Based on perceived facts But a poet makes a masterpiece. The output of poetry Depends on the condition Under which one writes. So, there are times when he is fast And there are times when he is slow. January 4, 2023, PST, BC
