Writing the Wrongs Right

"I love you" I did say but with just words
Words are limited communication
As such I admit it's not the good best
Today wouldn't have been for confession

Set to move with pen, normal flow got naught
'Love' not, poetry's nothing to Shakespeare
Sheets before me yet I'm I lost in thought
The wrongs, its memories, pierces like spear

Let's roll back, let's turn it to yesterday
Teen then, yet swam we in a love that's true
Naive though we be, we yet loved our way
Turn back of time, I think the moment's due

Pleasure I denied you, I grasp your plight
But for once, let's now write all the wrongs right
