Writing is my passion
All I think about in waking hours
And within my dreams
I find my inspiration
From little things
A picture
A photo
A memory
Or of him and I
Hand in hand
Experiences of life
Delivering short stories in verse
Each word exposes what I feel
Each sentence reveals emotion
Each stanza explains my reasons
Flowing freely from heart to pen
To be shared with the world
Both strangers and friends
Laid bare for all to see
Secrets remain untold,
For within my words
Are the truths only I know
