Writing In Sand and Stone

Writing "I love you" in the sand suggests that love is meant to fade;
That it can be washed away by life's periodic tides.
I suggest we write our love in stone, always carving it deeper.

Thanks Dr. Mehta. Numerous things have been written about writing romantic things in the sand, to see them washed away. I thought an opposite approach would be interesting.
