Writing and Riding With Destiny

Empty only seconds
And yet I fell so lonely.
I was pushed into a world
I wanted but never could have to my own.
I wanted one night with him
And a thousand from another.
I wanted and I wanted
I never needed.
I will never need it.
I'll face eternity alone
In jealousy and loathing.
Plagued by the desire
Of flings with older beings.
The wise old souls
With a book to his nose.
My everlasting hope
Even when my hope is wasted.
Ever is my hope wasted,
Wasted on these petty dreams of mine.
Always dreaming when the sun still shines
Abound my skin
I shall resign.
I shall grow strong.
I will move on
To distant songs of lovers gone.
I shall move on
And then move on.
