Writer's Block
The words don't want to come. . .
Will they be worthy for this effort?
Perhaps, they belong in a different home.
The blank paper stares at me. . .
Silently awaiting those words I will entrust to it,
Not for me, but for others to see.
Still, the voice remains inside. . .
"My words MUST be worthy",
Or else, they must continue to hide.
Then, the quiet is broken. . .
Tap, tap, tap...tap, tap, tap,
Still silent, the words are left unspoken.
They appear, however, on the page. . .
The paper before me is relieved,
Now the question..."Am I a Fool or a Sage?"
