a writer who embraces prolixity
sometimes refuses to edit even one word
claiming each one is vital
because she is inexperienced
does not realize editing makes her words more powerful
for when you are forced to eliminate,
your writing becomes concise and tight
some of my best writing happened
when I was forced to eliminate all unnecessary words
