Russell Sivey October 4, 2017 at 5:41 AM My grandmother used to quilt, they weren't too complicated though some were more than others! I have about five or six of them for my bed! I asked her to do one for all seasons, plus one for Christmas, and one, of course, for Halloween! I picked out the fabric for the Halloween quilt! She went along with it, even though she did not like that holiday! I thought you delightful poem was truly nostalgic! I was enthralled by it's powerful impressions this morning! So superior, Great Work!! Sara Kendrick October 4, 2017 at 8:51 AM Russell, Your grandmother was a special lady to do all of that for you..I have only done one quilt and it was a sailboat design for our grandson, Cody..Karter is using it now..I used fannel fabric because I thought that would be warm for Phyllis said that he would get cold in the car/truck when they went somewhere..I found out flannel was not a good fabric to use for quilting..Sara..I think quilts are lovely though..
