Nette, Thanks for the visit to my page..Quilts are lovely and the person who does those that are so fancy are truly gifted ladies or gentlemen..I suppose that some men have done them as well..Sara

My grandmother used to quilt, they weren't too complicated though some were more than others! I have about five or six of them for my bed! I asked her to do one for all seasons, plus one for Christmas, and one, of course, for Halloween! I picked out the fabric for the Halloween quilt! She went along with it, even though she did not like that holiday! I thought you delightful poem was truly nostalgic! I was enthralled by it's powerful impressions this morning! So superior, Great Work!!

Russell, Your grandmother was a special lady to do all of that for you..I have only done one quilt and it was a sailboat design for our grandson, Cody..Karter is using it now..I used fannel fabric because I thought that would be warm for Phyllis said that he would get cold in the car/truck when they went somewhere..I found out flannel was not a good fabric to use for quilting..Sara..I think quilts are lovely though..

I really enjoyed this, I have always wanted a Quilt, has this has always me reminded me of my grandmothers country place, and brings me such memories!!! Beautiful poem!

Arthur, It is amazing how one item can bring back delightful times at our grandparents or parents home..Sometimes a scent can remind me of my mother who I still miss after all these years..Your presence at my work is appreciated..Sara
